Ap racing bbk

Hello all! i have used these AP Racing brakes for the past 4 months and all i can say is wow! it gives me a full smile every time i step on them. there were times that these brakes actually saved my @$$ from getting crushed by a semi truck who suddenly merged into my lane. i slammed on the brakes so hard that my seat belt choked the life out of me lol. AP Racing brakes is my life saver. this is the one of the best upgrade no doubt about it. can't go wrong with this setup. after using these i don't think i can ever use oem brakes again. thank you Stillen and Josh for setting me up with these beautiful brakes. i am enjoying them every time i use my car.

Looks good man, i was driving pretty hard last night and slammed on the brakes when a car from the other lane cut in front of me, and i felt the OEM brakes are dangerous for sudden brakes, it seems to not be able to brake in time. I was lucky i was downshifting at the same time. I guess need some BBK? haha... will changing out the brake pads be good enough though?
Weiboy, the AP BBK you got, do they rust? where the holes are? or did you put a zinc plating there?

Better tires will help you brake better in an emergency situation more than any brake upgrade possibly can on a street car.

yes, i have experienced the same situation as what you just described! i remember when i first bought the car back in 08 i had to slam on them and it did not do it's job and almost rear ended somebody. i never felt safe with the factory sport brakes, even tho it had a stiff pedal feel, it just does not stop in time for an emergency events. ever since i got these AP Racing and broken them in it's night and day differences. i really really happy!

the holes have some kind of special rings, paint or insert on them that prevents from rusting. i'm not too sure, maybe AP Racing Chris or Josh@Stillen can answer that question.
