H&R Springs Questions and Help!!

Hey Guys,

I have a connect with a local performance shop and they said that they can sell me H&R's for $202.00 and install them. Is that a good deal?

Also how are they compared to Eibach kit? I heard from the guy that H&R is better in terms of quality and ride... Anyone chime in?

Thanks,

Joe

You are going to get varying opinions as to which is better, most of us haven't had more than one type of spring on the G37 to compare them directly although a few have. $202 is a good price, but how much are they charging you for the installation?

Search a little for the answer. I believe the H&R on a sedan is around 1" drop. It is much lower on the coupe. Whether or not that is a good idea for the winter I cant say since I am from FL and dont even know what snow looks like.

Then yes, that price is most excellent and you should jump on it before they change their mind.

1.3F 1.2R according to the HR website. Eibachs are 1.4F 1.3R for the sedan, 1.4F 1.1R for the AWD version.

However, I noted to the OP that you're with the G37X. HR only makes springs for the regular sedan, not the AWD version. If you go with those springs, you're bound to be left with the droopy bum effect. I'd personally stick w/ with Eibach.

When I spoke with the guy from the shop his wife had the H&R's on her G37x Sedan and she thought the car drove better with them when he took them off.

Also when he was pricing them he asked if my car was made before March 31st or after, and considering I picked up March 2nd I told him and he said they fit my AWD model.

He also said Eibach will ruin my struts.

Thanks,

Joe

I dont think an extra .1" will destoy your struts any more than the H&R will.
