best soloution for brake squeal

i've had the brake squeal come and go but its been bad recently, (only in reverse) I only have 13k on the car ALL city miles, the last time I had my front rotors off I saw that the pads are still good but need to be changed somewhat soon, and the rear pads were good. The sqeal drives me nuts, so what should I do?

try new pads hps?
or
adams rotors is having a deal get rotors and pads?
(street rotor double slot/drilled with hps pads) pretty good deal too

I just want the squeal gone any one with either combo please give me ur review thanks in advance

"Not Uncommon"

I brought my car into the dealer the week after I got my brand new car. The brakes squealed in reverse EVERY TIME. They said its normal because of the brakes. I have a 2008 g37s.....it's been 2 years....and still the same thing. It so embarrassing everytime i reverse. I HATE IT!!

Mine don't squeal in reverse although I believe it's a common problem with a lot of Nissan models. The 350z does it all the time.

Try swapping to a low dust ceramic pad.

go get the brake cleaner kit and brake caliper grease.
clean it and install it again with care.
It will give you better braking and no more noise.

I just had my 08 g37s coupe to the dealership yesterday to fix my front brakes. The rotors were warped and they did all the work according to the TSB. I told them about the squeal in reverse and they gave some excuse that the sport brakes were generally louder.

When I picked the car up they said they cleaned off my pads and I haven't heard the sound yet, which was really horrible lately. They also replaced my wheel bearings since they had it all apart. Guess I drive a little too hard. Only 17k miles too.

Clean the brakes thoroughly.

I have the 6MT coupe, and the last time I took it in for service, they inspected the brakes. Afterwards, the car would squeal everytime in reverse (not just when cold), so I eventually took apart the brakes and gave them a good cleaning. The noise is all gone now

what if you use high pressure air blower to remove brake dust?

The best stuff we've found so far is the Permatex Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant: http://www.permatex.com/products/aut..._Lubricant.htm

Make sure you clean up all areas where the pad back plate touches the caliper cage, piston and caliper. Apply the purple stuff just like the instructions say and the noise should be gone for quite some time. Nothing works 100% every time on brake noise, but this has been pretty close! I've seen it in more and more parts stores lately, so it isn't too hard to find.
