sway bar general ride quality

I've read all the reviews and threads about sway bars. i guess my question is, how is the general ride quality effected? i know it will be stiffer side to side, but if i'm just cruising down the highway or city streets, is it going to be dramatically stiffer or harsher where I will feel all the jolts from bumps or any other road imperfections?

background info. my car is a 2010 G sedan non sport. as of now, i'm planning on keeping the suspension stock. I had neuspeed swaybars on my previous cars, but they were all lowered with aggressive profile tires, so I can't tell if the stiffness and harshness were due to the swaybars alone.

thanks.

I only had my sways on for a couple weeks before I did my coils but I did not really notice much more of a harsh ride from them just less body roll in turns.

Makes things a little stiffer. I have the tanabes on my car. They're pretty good and not bad at all... But gotta remember if you want better handling you gotta have to sacrifice something... say, comfort....

I have a 2010 g37xs sedan. Got the stillen rear sway and the circuit sports strut tower brace. Neither really had any effect on the ride quality, but the stillen rear sway made a world of difference as far as handling goes.

Hotchkis middle setting with Sustec-pro, a bit tighter but no real difference. The Tanabe's are a bit spongy so a bit tighter is welcomed.

i had the hotchkis with JIC's so it was tough to remember what the ride felt like before....but from what i recall the side to side was the only area i noticed the difference.

The stillen rear sway bar was $169 and the circuit sports strut tower brace was $150. I did the install myself so no charge for labor!

They do come in a pair, but since my g is awd the front sway bar is different. Its actually about 30% larger than a rwd front sway bar, while the stock rear sway is tiny compared to the stock rear sway on the rwd g. They do this to make the car under-steer in bad weather, which they think is safe. I had to special order just the rear sway from stillen. No one makes a front bar for the awd g yet.
