Powerbrake
Has anybody Powerbraked their Infiniti G37 Auto? I recently seen a guy at a car show do it, Is it bad on the car??

I wouldn't do it all the time but it is fine to do occasionally at the strip. All car mags test automatics using this method....

Do the rear brakes lock up when you hit the pedal? If so isn't it bad on brake system?

When you hold the brakes and punch the throttle... Essentially to help do a good burn out..

i believe it puts a lot of stress on the transmission but as long as you dont do it often I dont see it doing real damage.

^^^LOL! Powerbraking is the best way to get a good run in an auto tranny. It just loads the torque converter which is designed for such loads. It doesn't hurt anything. And a big
to the guy that said it is for doing burnouts. Jeez...
