Exclamation Coilovers for G37s

hi guys

What is the cheapest (yet reliable) coilovers available. Im debating between springs and coilovers (getting for the lowered look, secondly the performance - daily driver)

I know KW's are Expensive - what is a affordable one?

BC or Tanabe Sustec. Tanabes are supposed to have the best ride quality for daily driving and you can pick them up from Lou@ amplified motorsport for a good price

most of us are in your shoes, daily driver and have a budget. springs are the best option as coilovers are expensive and an IMO an overkill for daily driving. keep in mind that if you go lower than eibachs, you will need a rear camber kit as well.

I was in a similar situation... Eibach's, with struts down the road, plus camber kits; or BC Coilovers.

After all is said and done, the former setup will cost just as much as the latter. For a DIY it's even. If you have a shop install, the CO's will be slightly cheaper since it's a direct replacement (no strut/string compression needed).

I went with the latter, 65miles of daily driving, no issues whatsoever. You can set it up to rattle your innards, or put it as soft (if not softer) than an OEM "S" ride.

+1. It's not that much more if not the same cost once you take into account the cost for new shocks/struts with springs. Plus you'll have the ability to adjust the suspension if you want to do so. Tanabe's quality always seems to be pretty good too, I never really see any type of horror stories about their stuff.

You can throw K-Sport in there too. They are pretty cheap but decent quality.

As it's been posted in other threads... springs are best for looks in dropping the ride of the car and lowering the center of gravity. coilovers are better for overall ride quality and handling.

The Eibachs seem to be a popular spring and are reasonably priced. Your best bet for the look you are striving for and the price factor would be those.

Good luck and post picks when you figure it out and get something installed.
