coilovers in winter time?

I just heard that coilovers are making some noise during the winter time. Is that true?
Winter time in east coast.. if so, any solutions to reduce noise?

I heard that there is squeaking sound from coilovers when you pass the bumps. I'm not sure but due to oil in coilovers freeze or something lol

No noises with my KW V3s at all... And we had temps in the teens this past winter in Atlanta.
