SPC Camber Install/Alignment
So, I've recently added Tein S-Techs along with some Vossen 084's. Noticed a significant camber in the rear, so I went ahead and ordered the SPC rear camber kit. Took the car to NTB here in Grapevine after the good work they did mounting and balancing my new wheels and tires without destroying the lip of the wheel and also due to the road course warriors that work up there. Asked to have an alignment done as well as the rear camber arms installed. The guy ask me what specs I wanted the wheels within and I said just the stock Infiniti specs.
Go to pick the car up and the guy who did the work has all four corners sitting with a slight negative camber because the guy states it's better for a lowered car. Asked to see the spec sheet and not one corner was within spec. I'm just wondering if any of you running SPC components are running slight negative camber at all. I know it gives better handling qualities in some instances, but I'm not road racing the thing and merely use it as a daily driver.
I don't have the spec sheet on me or a side pic of the car from any angle that will show it, but from the side of the car looking from back to front or vice versa you can definitely see a slight negative camber.
Here's a pic of the car pre alignment/camber arm install so you get an idea of the stance if anyone cares.....

No, the reason i bought the SPC rear kit was to bring the wheels back to within spec..
My front's are ever so slightly out of OEM spec but i am not all that worried about that as my TOE which is what really digs into the tires are all OEM..
I would go back and have him put the rears within and the fronts as close to oem as possible..

My thoughts exactly.....what gets me is they asked what specs I wanted them aligned to and I said within the stock Infiniti specs. Only to find out when I went to pick it up, the specs weren't even close.
Also noticed on my way to College Station, the alignment was off....its pulling to the right. They had it from 7 AM to 4 PM and did nothing correctly....

I wasn't able to get my car back into specs after the H&R/SPC combo either. It was way better after SPC but still slightly out of spec. The lower the spring the less even a camber kit can do. I got mine aligned at perhaps the most well known shop in Atlanta for Alignments. Just a casualty of war.
