Warped front rotors at 11K miles...
So I noticed that my steering would shimmy and shake when braking lately... I took it to the dealer for the 11K oil change and told them about it. I told them it was likely the rotors and they checked. It was.
Luckily for me, they said there was an issue with rotors warping on the G37 and they replaced the assembly under warranty. They did mention to me that if I brought it after 12K miles, they would likely not be under warranty.
I'm just passing the word that if you have a rotor problem, take it in and have it replaced asap before they screw you.
A car of this caliber should NOT have warped rotors within the first year of ownership.
Anyone else with this issue?

Everyone else had this issue, luckily you had them changed under warranty, there's a whole TSB about this.
PS Would appreciate it if you post in the right subforum next time

Yeah stock wheels. I had the wheels refinished and new tires the first of August and have had to get them rebalanced 3 times. After the brake TSB it got better and eliminated it completly during breaking. So either I got a bad tire or its something else. I just haven't had the time to get it checked out with school and all.

^ i think you have a slightly "bent rim" my 2 stock fronts are bad. the drivers side is worse than the passanger side. I had them redone a while ago.I refuse to keep spending $ 200 a pop to fix them.I bought some forged rims, but they are not even getting put on until the summer.

When they were refinished though they had to redo the wheels to fix all the dings from the tireshop that screwed them up. So unless the place that redid them just didnt do it right. Here is my thread on the issue, i just updated it.

My rotors went bad around 12k miles. Changed them under warranty at 15k. The company car I use once in a while is a Ford 500 with 70k miles on the original rotors.... just took it for brake pads change - the rotors in perfect condition.
Was Infiniti the high end Nissan or it was the other way around????

Is the shaking u guys experience only when braking or is it also when cruising at high speeds?? My steering wheel shakes a little when I get up to about 75-80MPH, but I assumed this is because I haven't had my car alligned yet since I had my S-Techs installed.

If it shakes without applying brakes it likely due to aligned/balanced issue and not rotors.
