help! im hitting something on lowered coils
so here's the deal . I'm lowered on tanabe coils, one finger gap in the rear , volk GT30s, tires are 275-30-20. camber kits installed. alignment within specs.
Whenever I hit a dip in the road , even without any load in the back. Im hearing like two metals grinding in the driver's side rear wheel. Checked the wheel on that affected part and saw some scuff marks on the inner part of the it.(the side the faces the coilovers). Ill be going to amplified to check them out next week.in the meantime, My questions are:
1) What am I hitting?
2) Why just the left side and not the right?
thanks amigos!

1) It's not hitting, it's called rubbing. If you noticed the sidewall of your tires got scuffed, then it mean's they're rubbing against the inner fendor lining (black thing above the right above the tire)
2) It's either because you're running more camber on one side than the other OR your weight could have affected it, kind of like this:

not tires,, its the wheels (metal ) thats is scuffed.. Do you think the PLASTIC fender lining will be able to do much damage to the wheels? and i swear ,, its a metal to metal contact sound -- sigh--
