The Tanabe Sustecs were made to meet this need for street performance. For $500 more then springs you get a full coilover suspension minus dampening that's custom designed for the G37. Plus you'd have a fully height adjustable suspension so you can set it exactly how you like. When you factor in install cost for springs, doing this once and right will pay for itself in the long run.

Only down side is you'll probably be waiting 3+ months. From what I hear 22 are coming in to port mid Sept and they are already sold.

Apparently, I am plain stupid, but I'm OK with that.

Loving my KW's for street...quiet, great handling, adjustable, no issues whatsoever.

Idk but everytime i see a car on coils its always looking better than springs. Are Tanabe coils good? I was about to get eibachs but the lil gap in the back is bothering me. Only if the eibach were alil lower in the back. I think ill go with coils.

i love my coils(tanabes) and will never go back to springs. just the fact that you can adjust the height is worth it already.

Tanabe coils are excellent, very affordable and in no way are they "overkill unless you are tracking", that's just plain wrong. You have height adjustibility, much improved handling for the street or if you decide to track the car, and your spring rate is correct for the damping rate as they are designed as a set to work together specific to the G37 application. The price is great as well, less than half or a third the price of many of the competitors coil over options available. The only thing they lack is the multiple damping adjustment the more expensive sets have. If the truth is told, I'd be willing to bet that the vast majority of JIC, KW, etc, owners who are not auto crossing regularly don't ever touch the adjustments after they are set the way they like them. Well worth the wait IMO.

correct... i have adjustable dampening before on my honda,, and i swear I didnt even touch the dampening after I set it up to where I wanted it. Well, Im sure You'll also appreciate this feature with canyon runs! ,, you need stiffer suspension with this one

I got the JICs cause at the time the BCs had that rattle issue, which is now solved, and they were the next cheapest option.
I know a guy who tracks with BCs on his G35 and loves them and is very aggressive on the track I'm not sure BC has come out with track version for 37 yet
