So i recently got a g37s MW and I want to drop it already..! I was looking into two different coilovers the HKS hypermax III and the KW variant 3.. my car is a daily driver and i want to drop it and not lose the ride quality and get the best handling. I am leaning toward the KW variant 3 because of the fact that the guys on here who have them have not given a single bad review.. any thoughts on why the hypermax would be better or if the KW's are the way to go..

 

I'm on my second set of KWs... Since my first car was totalled and KWs damaged in the the accident. I loved them on both cars. Excellent performance and no loss of ride quality.

No regrets and I'd get them again for another car. KW specializes in suspensions... It's their business. Not saying that HKS isn't good, but they don't specialize in them.

 

Have no complaints with my KW's either. Very nice ride.

 

If you wanna spend under 1K get Tanabes, if you wanna spend over 1K get KW.

 

Hipermax comes with top mounting plates, KW doesn't, it reuses your stock ones. Both are good.

 

I got KW's on mine, I've had no issues with them. I love the ride and handling on these coilovers.

 

If you are tracking your car get the KW's if your not its plain dumb to drop that much coin on something your not going to use...

 

^^ I agree with Sol...... just go with springs..... and save the extra money for something else.

 

^^ I agree with the you and Sol. Even though I don't and won't ever track my car I would like the option of adjusting height and ride quality.... I can't justify spending 1700+ for that though when I could get similar from a coilover that is ~800.
