Need help with brakes..

Hey boys,

I actually hit around 22k+ miles and my brakes are running low, i feel them just yelling at me to change them, however, I actually did not want to take them to the dealer..

If anyone has a place or website they recommend to buy them from for a cheaper price.. id really appreciate it..

just private message me back or i guess just write back in the thread..

Thank a lot.. greatly appreciated..

Search for Riverside Infiniti on ebay. Very reputable vendor. Many members have purchased from them via phone. Google for their phone number. They're a dealership but sells a lot of parts.

That, or you can look into aftermarket pads.

look into seeing if you want to go w/ aftermarket rotors or pads. the OEM rotors are expensive due to the diameter that you're working with.

as long as they are still smooth I don't see much need for new or resurfacing, but if you waited to long and dug into the rotors I personally always just buy new ones, don't really like the idea of resurfacing them...

just jack the front of the car up, pull a wheel off and see how much pad you have left if you are concerned

(the fronts should ware out faster then the rears, unless there is something else going on back there)

don't take it to a dealer to check, when my mom took her car in for the last oil change before the lease was over they said she needed brakes and tires... So I went back with her when it was time to pick it up from the oil change. Right after the service manager explained the necessity of 4 tires, pads and rotors all around we proceeded outside where I pulled a tire off right in front of him to see the pads I put on 6,000 miles prior, and the tires which all had more then 1/3" thread left...

gotta love the dealership
