Sport and tighter are two different things. Of course no "sport" suspension, but the xS has a tighter suspension than the x. It also has the paddle shifters. You guys may like the 6MT, but I like the paddles. Way better. Say what you want about the foot brake and no clutch, the paddles are way better than a stick, IMO.

I have the paddles are I disagree. I have no regrets about buying an auto with the floppy paddle shifter in the G because the G to me is a luxury sport sedan. But no floppy gearbox whether it's a DSG type gear box, or not, will feel as exciting to drive as a proper manual gearbox.

I should know I've been driving since 1980. In that time period I have only driven about about 5 years worth of autos gearboxes. All my past cars were stick except my 1976 Skylark (first car) and my last 2 G's.

sorry buddy, all AWD's have the same suspension... whether just the 17" wheels, or the Sport Package version.

I've said this before, I drove an 08xS for close to a year. In the real world in the streets and HWY the stock suspension is fine.

I hope your salesperson did not tell you this.

Not sure why people are saying there aren't any sways for AWD. Hotchkis makes them, and I've read lots of good things around the forum from those who've installed them.

Probably because this thread is 5 years old, and way back in 2009 there were no awd specific swaybars

wait wait wait !!! hold up!! lol not to hi-jack the thread, but since we are on this topic, I must ask..... How "definitive" is the fact that xS springs can work on an X. Maybe you guys are talking about a particular year?

I have a 2012 g37x sedan and want the exact same drop as the g37 S rwd sedan from the factory. Would springs from a g37xS sedan get me that look?

Is there a post anywhere that shows someone doing this? I know it's been done on older models and on g35's and whatnot... but more specifically i'm wondering about a 2012 g37x vs 2012 g37xS or g37S ride height comparison..

Thanks!

The xS does not have any performance differences from the regular x....S on the awd version is just a appearance package.

245/50R17 Continental ExtremeContact DWS at 42psi front and 40psi rear, the rear sway bar from the S Coupe/370z, GTSpec rear lower later and rear lower tie bars

Ok nice... That answers part of it. Would rwd S Springs work on an x then? I guess that would be the question. Because the rwd definitely sit lower than the awd, right?

personally I like the swift drop on the x more than the swift drop on the RWD.

If you're looking for swifts LMK, I'll have a set for the x along with fairly new KYBs in the classifieds shortly.

How much better is the ride with KYB shocks over stock on swift springs.

Marginally better but KYB is the only other choice for the X. My OEMs "blew" as we lowered the car after the install so maybe that's not a fair comparison but they seem a bit better.
