Eibach's all the way...like others said, the ride quality will probably be similar, but the stance is better in my opinion with Eibach because it completely eliminates the front fender gap, and gives ya a moderate rear drop to even out the height of the car overall.

I just detailed my car this morning, which is completely stock except Eibach's and tints, and the thing is looking good....I was gonna take pics to provide for purposes of this thread but as I went outside, a storm approached so I had to hide my ride in the garage...so much for my sunny saturday lol

did everyone just do the springs or cambers to? After all this good talk i want them but scared of rubbing and wearing out my tires.

Get SPC camber for the rear and you will be fine... no rub, no uneven tire wear..

Thanks but is it really needed? dont want to pend the extra $200. i dont race my car just to and from work and shows is all for me.

I think it's funny how everyone recommends camber kits for the rear "just because." People, let's get something straight here: the ONLY section of the car that has any camber adjustability from factory is the rear - very minimal, but it still has some. The front has 0 adjustability. So the whole "get the camber kit for the rear and you'll be fine" is a very invalid statement, because typically lowering springs will throw off the front more than the rear on these cars.

Now it just so happens to be that because the Eibach's provide a moderate drop, the car is able to align back to factory specs for most people. Even though the front's camber is not adjustable, it still falls within factory spec which is a nice thing. Toe can be adjusted back to factory setting (both front and rear) without the need for any camber kits when using these springs.

I and a few other members I know are running on the Eibach springs with no alignment issues and no need for any camber kits.

I have Eibachs, they work great. You absolutely will notice a difference in both looks and handling (at least for me it did). OP, if you're in So cal, come out to the HB meet and see them in person.

I'm also within factory spec after an alignment without camber kit. On 20s.

i have eibachs. its personal preference which drop you want but small difference.

I heard if you don't get struts at the same time they wear out faster. is that so?

Yes, if the spring is shorter and stiffer as all lowering springs are, it will put additional stress on the struts. That being said, I don't feel it's unsafe and its impossible to say if your struts will wear out 100K miles sooner, 50K miles sooner, or 5K miles sooner. I think that depends largely on how you drive and how much stress you put on the suspension. The more you push to the limit, the more stress you put on any suspension component including the struts. If you drive more conservatively, I doubt that it will make a significant difference over the life of your car unless you are someone who plans to keep it for a very long time like me.

Well its my daily driver to and from work. No race track or anything so the springs will be enough for me then. my piggy bank (wife) hates the forums, my wallet does too.
