Hotchkis Swaybars and body squeaks input
I'm concidering purchasing a set of Hotchkis f/r swaybars. But my concern is that I'll start hearing a bunch of body creaks and of ruining the ride quality beyond what I am willing to tolerate.
Now I expect a little rougher ride (say 5-10%), but if its going to put the car in a completely new ride quality department then they might not be for me. More importantly is the creaks and groans. I can tolerate a little, such as pulling out of a driveway or even big potholes, but if everday driving is going to barage me with body creaks then that will make me not get them.
I know no 2 cars are exactly alike, but I'd like some comments from people on how their cars behave with stock G37S sport suspension and just the sways.
Thanks ahead for any input.

The key to not getting any noise it to lubtricate them generously with the grease provided. Use it all and you won't have any noises. If you develop any later from the sway bars, they are equipped with grease zerks on the bushings to add more grease easily without having to remove them.
The ride won't be much harsher IMO, just a bit stiffer laterally when taking corners. However, when you hit a big bump or hole on one wheel, it will tend to upset the car more becasue the impact will be spread much more to both wheels on the same axle rather than the wheel handling it independently.

I've had mine for a month or so now and haven't experienced any more creaking or squeaks. Like BB said, they mainly just affect your side to side motion so they shouldn't have a big impact on regular driving.

did you notice the squeaks and creaks when they were first put on? I am in my car and wondering if that goes away? gets better? or gets worse over time? I am not particularly fond of it. It reminds me of the noises I notice in my 35, but never had in the 37.

You need to grease the bushings as Black Betty stated.

I've had them on for a year now and I didn't start noticing any creaking until winter started. The cold weather is really what got to them. The nice thing is they have the bleeder thing so you can re lube them. Then they should be fine again. It helped a little on mine but now that its warm again they are completly silent.

I am not sure it is the sway bars actually making the creaking or the car - the A or B pillars possibly? the sways were lubed when they were installed, I bought them used.
Is anyone else experiencing that?

Honestly, the only time I hear anything is if I go over tall speed bumps straight on. Otherwise there is no noise whatsoever, and in any other condition.
MRC - Go ahead and apply additional lube via the bleeder valve. That should take care of your problem.

Hotchkis sway and end links

I installed new Hotchkis sways front and rear last summer. As it got colder (and it gets real cold here in Canada!), I heard a clunking sound when going over speed bumps or hitting a pot hole. Below -5 deg C, I started hearing a grinding/binding sound. It was quite loud and disturbing. Bushings are well lubed. Above freezing the clunk is still there but the ginding noise is gone. I had the car in and was told the front end links were shot. After doing some research, I have come to the conclusion that the new sways stress the end links at different angles and to different levels than the stock sways. I am now trying to find after-market end links, but the only ones I can find are SPL's FEZ34. I am bit nervous about buying them as one website says they are not for the AWD sedan. Anyone else put these on a G37x sedan?

Rear Anti Sway Bars Debris Shields
Just installed the hotchkis front & rear bars and have searched hi and low through the sight for info. about rear sway bar splash or debris shields. I have a '13 sedan G37S 6MT and I noticed during the install, studs and threaded holes that will accept the 10mm hardware allowing one to install a set of swaybar bushing debris or splash shields. It is unclear to me if these are available for purchase, nor do I know if they were a standard part found on earlier model years. The fact that studs and threaded holes are in place fron the factory leads me to believe a factory part was at one time installed there from the factory. Any info would be appreciated, Infiniti part#'s ect. I would loveto block all the road debris and water from constantly bombarding my rear swaybar bushings. Thanks guys!
