Rear Camber kit for eibach?

Hi all,

Just wondering if you can give me suggestions. I know it really depends from car to car, and it's already been said by many that camber kit isnt necessary to get the tires close enough to spec to prevent tire ware...

My dilemma is this.. since im in canada, the cost of springs/camber kit and even the install/alignment is really expensive..

I really want to drop on Eibachs for the most cost efficient way, long term plan is to get 20" Rims but drop first..

Route 1
1) Eibachs Spring Kit($350)
2) Install Cost ($150)
3) Wait 2 weeks get then get alignment ($120)

Everything in spec total cost: $620 =)

Route 2
1) Eibachs Spring Kit($350)
2) Install Cost ($150)
3) Camber Kit ($260)
4) Install ($60)
5) Wait 2 weeks get then get alignment ($120)

Everything guaranteed in spec total cost: $940

Route 3
1) Eibachs Spring Kit($350)
2) Install Cost ($150)
3) Wait 2 weeks get then get alignment ($120)
4) not in spec... require camber kit
5) Camber Kit ($260)
6) Install ($60)
7) Get another realignment ($120)

Everything in spec total cost: $1060 , +Wasted time to have to get another realignment

I think if I have to go Route 3 I may as well skip lowering and get the greddy exhaust $1050 installed, and wait till i get my rims b4 lowering..

what do you guys think? based on experience with getting back to spec with eibach and no camber kit?? Also how much estimated wear will there be if it is a little out of spec?

I have the Eibachs without the camber kit. When I got my alignment, they told me they were able to get it back within manufacturer specs. I am running some neg. camber front and back, but it is not too much. Tire wear seems alright. The Eibachs do not give that big of a drop, just get a good alignment.

Go with route 1. You do not need camber kit, just a good alignment. I have Eibachs too.

I'm having the same dilemma, considering going with the Eibachs, and 20mm spacers on the stocks. Will I be ok without a chamber kit?
