Damn! I hate you guys! When every shop in town said they no longer install lowering springs due to liability, the dealership quoted me upwards of $400. So I had a patient of mine do it in his garage, and he still charged me $225. Apparently not everything is cheaper here in the rust belt.

I apparently get really honest and chatty under it's effects because the dentists' assistant told me some of the stuff I said to my dentist while I was under last time. My dentist is a really hot Persian chic and I think what I told her I'd like to do with her is illegal in her country. When the DA told me what I'd said I'd like to do to the Doc, I was a bit .
She was really cool about it though.

The best story, however, came from a friend of mine. He was working on his hygienist's teenage daughter when she started trying to guess how "large" he was, and discussing the things she'd like to do to "it." You can imagine the amount of the beer spilled and spit out at the bar while he was telling us the story!!

$20 per strut. the fronts are the only true struts. so $40 for (2) struts.
mind you, we drove to pepboys in my car, pulled jedmonds loose struts out of my trunk and the (2) eibach springs. handed it all to the guy at the counter and an hour later he gave them back. at which time we drove back to the car on stands and put the struts back on.
so yes $40.
his rears already had the tanabe springs installed, so we didn't even touch them.

I did the same thing, with exception to the changes I made below...
I drove to SportCar (a local tuner shop here in San Marcos) in my crx, pulled my loose struts out of my trunk and the (2) eibach springs. Handed it all to the guy in the garage and 30 minutes later he gave them back. At which time I drove back to the car on stands and put the struts back on.
I paid $30 for this service.
I installed the rear myself.
