GTspec Issues??

I had read some posts about fitment and scratching on the GTspec strut tower brace. I decided to call them about the issue. Apparently their is no issue. The person who answered the phone was real chill and informative. It seems that some scratching may be natural due to engine movement and such. This is normal. If you want a strut bar for performance and not show quality looks, this is probably a great product. He said they have the front and rear underbody braces available also. In the future, they will have a rear strut and an underbrace for the middle of the car.

I am going to try and get the front strut bar and front brace in a few weeks to see how much they help in tight turns. Does anybody have any input on these products for the G37???

it's just a tight engine bay and the GT-Spec bars are very functional. Even when I was test fitting the various strut bars on my 1st gen G sedan I had a few bars not work but the GT-Spec bar felt the stiffest when I adjusted it to the highest position i could.

it does make a difference. As soon i put it on the car felt more stiff on a turn and well planted. I could go 80 on a huge curve and feel like i was going like 40.

i think even if revise it would still scratch actually due to not enough room in engine bay and the hood under cover. unless they made the bar thinner than i think it will prob have little scratches but its not even that bad, luckily mine i dont got no scratches on it except for a few but it went away if i buff it

i ran the richies v2 stb on my g35 and i have to say these bars are a great mod. definitely something i recommend for anyone looking for better handling. pair them up with sways and springs and you have a great car.

Remember when I called GT Spec they did say some rubbing was natural due to engine movement during acceleration. For a show quality strut bar, these may not be the ones for you. For performance, sounds like these will be great.
