Eibach Pro-Kit Results....Close-Up Pictures of Results

I have seen a lot of posts regarding Eibach and other spring installs and that is how I decided what exactly I wanted to try. So I installed Eibach Pro-Kit and SPC Camber Kit (same as Eibach kit, but could not find one in stock). I put blue painter's tape on the edge of the fender to get a good picture and measured ground to bottom edge of the fender. Seemed easier than trying to measure the gap. So here is the results after only 1 day of install. If they settle (hope the rear does), then I will post an update.

Front: Dropped from 28" to 26 3/4". So 1.25 vs. Eibach spec of 1.2".

Front Before:

Front After:

For the rear, I went from 27 3/8" to 27". So only about 0.4" vs. Eibach spec of 0.8".

Rear Before:

Rear After:

So anyone else have similar results immediately after install? I like it so far and hope front does not settle but also hoping rear comes down to 0.8" like Eibach said.

I believe Eibach states that drop varies with G37 that has the sport suspension set up.

I called and talked to Eibach tech before buying the springs. I too was concerned with the drop on the S vs. non-S. According to their records on customer vehicles they had done, the drop was to be 1.2" front and 0.8" rear on the G37S. Oh well.

First, thanks for the detailed pics. Second, did you need the camber kit to get back to the stock settings, or did you get it so you could go more aggressive? I'm asking because you've sold me on the Eibach's but didn't know if I needed to invest in the camber kit if I was going to stay with the stock settings. Thanks.

There is a lot of debate on this forum as to when you need the Camber kit. I talked to SPC and they were kinda wishy-washy. Then I talked to Eibach who recommended getting the camber kit (arms and bolts) as I could end up being marginal. So I decided to install them now just in case I needed them or just in case I went more aggressive. Cost me $525 labor for spring install, camber kit install, and alignment and I was not going to save much cutting out the Camber kit. Hope that helps.

Sure. I'll add some in a week or three once I see if it settles a bit.

So just a quick update. Did a quick remeasure this am on the way out the door. Been 9 days since install. Looks about like a 1/8" additional drop on all 4 corners. Again, did not take a lot of care in measuring extra accurate.....if I can get another 1/8" and that is all then I will be real please.

A little far to go for me. And the guys that did it for me in Manassas, VA inspected the car, marked anything wrong in and outside of the car, and I got it back the way I turned it in. The Infiniti dearlerships don't do custom non-stock work. The guy at a dealership that did my GTI "on the side" only charged me $250 w/o an alignment, but he put the front springs in upside down and had to redo it, then lost my wheel lock for 3 days....so I had no problem paying more this time. Anyone need a good shop in Manassas, VA area, just let me know.
