Eibach Review
Just posting another review on the Eibach drop springs. Ordered them from Hpauto, thanks Andy. Shipping took a little longer the most of you guys in the states will experience, but I was expecting that anyway. Packaging, well there was really nothing to package, just throw the postage on the Eibach box and off it went. No complaints there.
Install:
I did the whole install pretty much by myself for the most part. I have changed shocks and springs before on Hondas, so a had a little experience with suspension work. But honestly if you have the time and a place to take it that has lifts, I definitely recommend that you install them yourself and save the cash. It really wasn't as difficult as you might think. For the front I only took off 7 bolts and on the back I only took off 1. I can't imagine how much it would have cost me too have a professional do it, but it only took me 2 hours so you can do the math compared to your local installer. I took it on base to the auto hobby shop to use their lifts. It was $5 an hour to use the stall with the lift. Like I said it was 7 bolts in the front and 1 in the back. Luckily the shop had a pneumatic spring compressor which made removing and installing the front springs a snap. This is where I had assistance from the guy who worked there because they didn't want me to touch their machine. Reinstalling the shock and spring for the front was easy. I have to throw this in here, the shocks say Nissan on them guys not Infiniti lol. The only thing in the fender well that said Infiniti was the brakes, and we all know those weren't made by Infiniti. Just wanted to state that for all you "this is an Infiniti die hards"! But seriously the car is whatever you want it to beThe back had one bolt, but I had to use my own jack to relieve the spring pressure to remove the bolt. When I released the jack, down came the spring. I wish I could have taken a bunch of pictures while doing but I was on the clock to use the stall. Sorry guys, but I do have before and after pics that I will be posting shortly.
Review:
As soon as I put all four tires back on the ground after the install, it was a night and day difference compared to stock. The guy working there who saw the car before I put the springs on as well as my friend who was there said it was 100x better than it did before. I really love the drop. Never have never seen another dropped G37 on Guam so I have nothing to compare it to, but I really love it. The drive home felt the same as the drive to the shop. Could not tell the difference, but I could see more of the road. Highly recommend these to everyone who is on stock springs!
Cons:
Not that there are a bunch, but it is worth noting that the stock springs are lighter than the eibachs. I didn't notice the difference until I lifted the box with the stockers to put in my trunk. I almost threw the box in the air because I was expecting something heavier Also this has nothing to do with the springs, but while taking off the lug nuts one of them fell on my rim and made a really noticeable chip. I was really pissed but what could I do. I'll post pics of that too and if you have any suggestions on how to fix it (besides getting new rims) please let me know.
Pros:
Got rid of the disgusting wheel gap in the front! Ride is the same as stock. These were worth every penny. Thanks again Andy. I highly recommend these!
Suggestions:
For those of you who are trying to decide to get springs or coilovers, I highly suggest you get these instead. I mean I will eventually get coilovers, but that is if and when my stockers give out. I know on another thread I posted about changing my seats to racing seats. A few of you guys said that if you don't track your car then don't do it. Well if you are not going to track your car I don't see the point in dumping almost 2Gs on a set of coilovers. I feel that I track my car fairly often than most of the guys who actually have coilovers and although I haven't tracked the car with the eibachs yet, I think they'll fit my needs for a while. I don't see whats the point of coilovers if you aren't going to track them, I think its probably a hassle to lift the car everytime you want to change ride height (if you change it at all). Don't get me wrong I love coilovers as much as the next guy, but after buying my "S" a few months ago I think I will make use of the "sport" suspension for now. If all you want is to get rid of the wheel gap or just to lower you car, I say get these or any other lowering spring. But your money is your money and I'm just putting my opinion out there for you guys.
Please let me know what you guys think. Like I said I'll post pics as soon as I can find the cable for my camera. Thanks in advance for any comments, positive or negative

Very nice!
I've had Eibachs on my FX for a little over 3 yrs. now.
They've held up extremely well.
220 track miles, and probably 70 or so SCCA autocross runs since I lowered.
That will be one of the first things I'll do on the 37.

[QUOTE=tfmbigdog99;2422813]Looks good dude, the Tein H-techs for the g35 gave me alittle more drop than the eibachs would have. Liquid Platnum for the win![/QUOTE
Yea I was thinking about the H-Techs as well, but I am one of those guys who doesn't feel comfortable putting on something made for another car. I'm positive there is nothing wrong with throwing on the G35 springs, guess I was just worried because are cars are heavier the the G35s. H-tech drops look sick as well though. Yup LP!! Hard to see the scratches on our color if we have them!
Can't wait to bring mine to the next local AutoX, hopefully the lower center of gravity will help
Thanks bro. Let me know when you aren't stuck at work and you can check it out in person Or I can let my wife bring it with her to clinicals since you work there anyway, just let me know. Wife's struggling a little in class though, but I heard your brother gets A's everytime. Whats the secret lol! Just kidding bro, laters!

You'll notice the difference immediately!
I have benchmark corner around here I used to compare before and after with the Stillen Strut Bar, Eibachs, KDW's, etc.
Before the Eibachs, I could take that corner at about 58-60 mph with some tire squeal.
After the Eibachs, I could take the same corner at about 65-66 mph with no tire squeal at all.
You will feel the difference-
Enjoy-
