Also new to this whole suspension stuff and what do I need to do for the suspension and its components to hold over the long run. Camber kit or etc...dont know what they do..help please. a coilover is a strut and spring. there are no aftermarket struts available for the g37 yet. the stocks can handle a spring drop of an inch or so without doing any real harm.

Factory struts generally have a lifespan of around 50-60k miles on lowering springs, so you will be fine w a minimal drop such as Eibach, Tanabe, or Impul. The other springs will lower the car more and cause a heavier load on the struts, which will shorten the life of them.
