S/S brake and clutch lines

Does anyone know if there is a vendor with stainless steel brake lines or clutch line applications for our cars yet?

Thanks.

But for $300??? Ouch! The last set I bought was only $210 shipped for the brakes and the clutch line. I'll wait until somebody else has them or they have a sale.

EDIT: It's amazing what Google and 15 minutes can do. I found them here for $229 shipped.

Much more like it!

FYI it's the same part number as the 06+ M35/M45.

Hey Black Betty, if you find more stuff like this, let me know so I can add it to the modding411 section. I didn't even think about this.

When did you inquire? I think they only recently came out with the '08 applications.

Go to their website and look at the '08 application chart. It clearly lists them. They have the same P/N as the M so maybe thy just discovered that the same lines would fit without making a different kit I guess.

I could afford to buy them retail for $229 and mark them way the hell up like some vendors do and still make a profit!

This azz clown is charging $450!!! Scandalous!

I'm all about free enterprise and making a profit, but that's just ridiculous. I'll stay out of the brake line business. Hell, I'm just trying to ge to the "break even" point of making one applicatin of grounding wires, it's not time to diversify... yet.

I took my brake lines off and gave them to my buddy who works at a hydraulic supply shop. He made me 4 kicka$$ SS lines for $10 bucks each. So there definitely is some serious mark up. Then we rinsed out the whole system and put in this really cool super high boiling point BLUE colored brake fluid

If you have access to a shop that presses hydraulic fittings and lines you can get it done dirt cheap if you know someone. Did your buddy's shop have the stainless steel covered lines as well or where did you source them from? Kevlar or Teflon?
