i still say danny is wrong
i'm willing to bet money on it even.
it they were installed the way danny says.. the piece under the spring would not 100% be contacting metal. the bottom piece on the car is shaped for the spring to fit in
also if they are installed the way mine are (like max's) the top piece fits perfectly onto the top part on the car. installing them this way makes the most sense for more than one reason

So I guess my installer is also incorrect, as I'm installed just like Max.
If proper install instructions would have been provided, this wouldn't have happened. Has nothing to do with the installer, as the way mine are and Max's are makes more sense appearance and adjustment wise than the proposed way. I don't care what I buy for anything I own, it should come with instructions whether I'm an early adopter or late buyer.
Buy the Tein when they finally come out and put them on upside down and see what happens.
If people installing coils wrong is going to deter you from buying then you are an idiot.
If you just dont want that brand, that is fine.

BTW this makes day number 5 for me not driving the car waiting for answers. Can BC please work out the proper install in the next day so I can get it fixed and actually enjoy my car? Friday morning I went to drive it, and the rattle was so bad I decided to park it and haven't moved since.

By looking at the picture of max's it would have to be the correct way because you would need a spaner wrench to adjust them, no. With the spring turned the opposite way like kidcanes sitting in the control arm its looks like it would be impossible to adjust them. Again only my 2 cents since I don't have them. Any responses?

Mine are installed the same as Max's. When they first installed them i had pretty bad rattle every time i went over bumps. I took it back and they seemed to fix it, but the passenger side still makes that noise over big bumps. Interesting... so far the people who have it installed like the first picture have no rattle, but the people who have it installed like Max have the rattle... Either way, someone has it installed wrong.DOMO

for the people with rattles, just a few suggestions..
make sure all of the collars are tightened
make sure the collars on the shock aren't so loose that the spring moves around
make sure it isn't your extenders rattling against the car
make sure all bolts are tight. take your wheel off and tighten all bolts, then jack your suspension up with a floor jack and check them all again

hmmm wow everything is very interesting, and really all this boils down to a bigg fail on BC's part for not having instructions that were clear enough for correct installation 100% of the time... istructions need to be very detailed and precise.. and its easy to see that they were not... i am glad that i did not buy them and have them installed.. i would say BC has alot to work on.. especially compensating every indiviual that has purchased their coil overs. this obvisously not the installers fault if the intructions do not clearly state or show the proper way of installing their product...BC needs to man up before something bad happens and has alot of very upset customers and possibily a lawsuit if something happens while one of these guys are driving..........
this is a very big fail.... bc please help these guys, since you obvisouly rushed your product and it was not done right the first time.........
