i dont know if this was asked and answered but are the compression and rebound adjustable on their own or is both adjusted with one ****?

Rebound is adjustable, compression slightly changes with the rebound on its own.

cant wait to hear more info... how will these handle against stock suspension with just some springs...?

You can never compare any shock/spring combo to coilovers. Coilovers will always feel better in just about everyway.
