alright, i do have to say this is such a great post for me because its everything i want to do.. since you all are here i want to take some oponions and instrucions.. i have a g37s and i'm thinking about dropping it also, getting a body kit as soon as one comes out (a badass one), rims as soon as the sun comes out.. so.. i'm completly cluess on what i do first and what to do.. i just know i want to do it all. i do have t mention i'm not really a car person.. i just like driving nice cars lol.. so please dont get all advance with the answers lol.. hold my hand!!

1 - Do i drop it first then get rims? or get rims then i drop?

2 - I want 20"s so would that be too big with the drop? dont drop and just get 20's? Whats the correct size so the wheels dont stick out from the sides?

3 - get the rims after the body kit? or rims first? (cause body kit could be a while)

Thanks! <3 YOU ALL! gooooooooood nighttt :P

Nice drop and how hard was it to replace springs at home. Did you have to buy any special tools? If you can provide some tips that would be great.

I had a friend install them but it didn't seem like it was difficult for him. All you really need is an impact wrench, a couple socket wrenches, and a spring compressor that you can rent from AutoZone or similar store. If you want me to ask him to install for you just let me know. He's in Azusa but does most of his work at another friend's house in Bellflower.

Thanks for your quick reply and I'm debating on droping my G37 because it'll be pretty expensive mod if you do it right with camber and toe kits with new alignments.

First alignment is free at the Infiniti dealerships for the first 12,000 miles/12 months

I'm pretty sure that Infiniti won't offer cars that modified with springs and such. This is probably for stocks.

Not sure on the exact numbers, but Tanabe advertised 1" on the front and .7" on the back.

looks pretty good, still might drop a tiny bit over the next month. it's hard to tell with those tires on there cause they tuck so far in the fenders and there is a shadow. what would you say the fender gap is on the front and rear is now. would like to see these on a sport!

weird i was thinking the exact oposite. I feel it really makes them look smaller because now you can really tell how chunky the tire is also...
