All true, however, on the contrary, bigger surface area on the rotor, coupled with more pistons for equal brake distribution, would that not make the car stop a bit faster? I may have misunderstood your comment. But I am aware of "drilled" and performance brakes does more purpose on tracks vs everyday driving...

Yes, it will stop the car faster on REPEATED stops. Bigger brakes essentially allow you to go into a turn faster on the track because you can apply the brakes later. The bigger brakes dissapate the heat better.
But on the street, what UNV-IT46 says is true because there is less heat to dissapate. In street driving, most people do not run the big brakes to temperatures where they are at their peak efficiency.
