@sobeIPL, did you have any issues with the airbag light on the dash coming on after installing the GTR seat belts?
the only difference between the G and GTR belt (besides color) is the plastic thing that extends out to keep the belt off your neck is a smidge smaller. It’s barely noticeable and GTR version is a little better imo.
Lastly, make sure you re-use the G bracket that the top part bolts up to. (My belts came with those brackets attached but that shouldn’t be the norm). The GTR bracket has a slightly different angle and it won’t work.

@petemo94 I lived right on the water in south beach (hence my username) and had some issues with rust. The body shop handled a majority of the issues that are body related but I still had a lot of rust underneath. Luckily for the car I moved and now she’s a garage queen far away from the salt water.

Ah - I see. Beautiful car you got there. Can't imagine how good the car must smell with all of that leather! She's earned the title of "Garage queen" based on what you've done to it. Wished you did some sound measurements before and after all of these improvements.
Here's my experiment I did a while ago. Would be curious to see what you are getting at this point as a way to compare.

@petemo94 Thanks man. Yea the car smells amazing. I’ve searched this forum ad nauseam and have never seen your thread! I actually bought a few cans of boom mat to do the fender area but never got around to it. Someday…
Is the 4-5 DB you drop actually noticeable? I didn’t measure b/ I don’t have a decibel meter and just didn’t think too. I guess I could measure in the future and you could compare it to your base results…
While I think my results are definitely noticeable, my car does ride quiet and heavy feeling like a real luxury car, I don’t think it’s worth the time and money to do what I did as far as the full MLV treatment. I would instead just spot treat problem areas with CLD. The leather wrapping is well worth it though. Looks great and was much less work than the sound deadening.

So you can download an App (for the iphone I used the dB Volume app) and let your phone be the microphone. Is it accurate? Probably not, but I would like to see what you register as the dB compared to my changes and the speeds I noted. Apples to apples comparison.
I definitely did notice an improvement. However, slowly over time that difference fades away. But I felt that my exercise was worth it and I'm sure yours was DEFINITELY worth it. Amazing detail you provided us. Makes me want to put sound deadening in my transmission well now!
My "AFTER" tests:

My "AFTER" tests:
- Local Road @ 55MPH - Range = 64dB - 66dB (~1dB gain)
- Local Street @ 25MPH - Range = 62dB - 65dB (~2-4dB gain)
- Highway @ 70MPH - Range = 66dB - 71dB (~2-3dB gain)

@ILM-NC G37S can you please let me know which wires I should tap? Looking for a set of wires that go up to my speakers door speakers. unsure which of these are signals from radio versus which go the speakers. I am replacing the Bose amp and speakers but need to reuse the one set of speaker wire that will go to my crossovers. Thx

Welcome Back, Kotter, errr... @sobeIPL
All of your speaker signal outputs (for the front doors) are on the B42 connector. From the 2013 Coupe FSM:
Driver Door:
Squawker & Tweeter feed off pins:
1 (signal +)
2 (signal -)
Woofer feeds off:
9 (signal +)
14 (signal -)
Passenger Door:
Squawker & Tweeter feed off pins:
4 (signal +)
3 (signal -)
Woofer feeds off:
5 (signal +)
6 (signal -)
Is this what you are needing confirmation on or did I misunderstand?
