Blower motor suddenly stops

Lately on my 2011 G37 sedan, the blower motor suddenly stops, this usually happens just after starting the car. If I turn the car off and on again it usually fixes it, sometimes it takes a few restarts. Turing the controls off and on does not fix the issue. When the blower suddenly stops, the controls still work. Today when it stopped suddenly, I pulled the two 15A fuses and plugged them in and worked. Really need some help diagnosing this weird issue.

try replacing the relay (its mounted behind the fuse kick panel in the drivers foot well and kind of awkward to get to) theres a very long thread on g35driver about this issue the relay is in the same spot on the g37...seems to be a problem with the 2nd gen g's too ...good luck

Installed a new relay. Seems to be working, I will report back if I does not solve the issue. Thank you. FYI for anyone that experiences this, the relay is located behind the fuse box in the driver's kick. Relay is furthest one on the bottom.

Update: this just happened again, within 30 seconds of starting the car. I will add the blower motor is new, I replaced it months ago when the original one started making noises. Any suggestions on what to check?

When this happens, climate controls still have power.

It is possible the blower motor resistor is the culprit. Blower motor resistance increases over time putting a strain on the resistor itself causing it to overheat and stop working.
Most cars give an intermittent working blower or stuck at certain speeds. It makes sense that to replicate you have to reset power to it.
