Passenger side water leak
Hi,
I have a 2012 sedan with the infamous passenger side leak that I can’t solve or replicate without it raining . The first time this happend it cause major electronic malfunctions alarm going off, widows unrolling them selfs, no start, wouldn’t shut off once started to name a few. The shop I took it to saw water was getting in the cabin air intake, filter was soaked etc. They sealed off the area water was getting through. During the next rain fall I found more water in the plastic panel under the glove box so I brought it back to the shop. I had them inspect the sunroof drains as well as silicone the wiring harness grommet behind battery. I myself have tested the sunroof drains and they seem fine. I also tried blocking the drain with a rubber glove which seemed to cause water the leak through the passenger far side of the dash ( dripped out next plastic portion of kick plate). Long story short just wondering if anyone has any ideas/ experience with a leak like this. I’ve attached a photo of where I consistently find water on the panel under the glove box it’s always in that corner.
Thanks, Noah

Some people have had water leaking out of the weatherstripping. On both driver and passenger side mine is leaking out of here. Next time it rains check if you see any water in this area. I am dealing with this problem now.
