What lighting elements are in the 2014 Q60 headlamp?
I just bought a 2014 Q60. I haven't had a chance to tinker with it too much, but I did notice that the area that would be a traditional high-beam isn't actually a high beam, and I know in the older G coupes this is where the fog light was housed. I am assuming that obviously, the high beam is bi-xenon, sorry I am not super familiar with these cars, I haven't had a chance to drive mine in the dark.
I did find that the 2011+ cars moved the fogs into the lower bumper. So what exactly is the function of the vestigial "high beam" part of the newer headlamp? And what kind of bulb is in there? I'm planning to get Morimoto XB fogs, so I'd like to get rid of any incandescent light in the front of my car.
