Rear Damage

I’m new to the G37 community and unfortunately this is my first post. I was hit on the highway by a Jeep Compass that was also hit by a Toyota Tacoma.. I wanted to hear everyone out on how much you think the damages are and if it’s totaled .. my backup sensor is so f*****!!!

The @ss end of the car is still present. I don't see how it could be totaled. Probably $2-3K in damage at most. That toyota looks to be in much worse shape. I would of expected more damage to the jeep's rear.

What happened? Toyota texting?

Damage is going to be near 5k possibly more. Inner structure damage, rear pan, bumper, trunk, probable floor pan and possibly rails. Whats year and mileage? If it has rail damage it gets expensive fast and depending on mileage may total.
Edit: I can also see from the pic, your right 1/4 is buckled as well. The damage looks light, but trust me, this will get expensive fast.

I'm betting its totaled. Check out my profile pics. Very similar rear end damage. $9000-$12,000. Virginia insurance laws declared it a total loss. I wasn't allowed to keep. Still upset about and searching for a replacement.
Sorry man!

insurance repair limit on collision by major insurance companies is typically 70% of the cars current market value. assuming your car is worth at least 15k, insurance should pay up to 10k in damages not including rental car benefits. i am not a body repair estimator but i would guess your damages are probably going to be between 5-7k especially if you are going to get a reputable shop that uses factory parts. good luck hope it goes well.
