Brushed Metallic Black Interior (almost) Complete!
I decided to vinyl wrap parts of my interior trim from the original brushed aluminum to brushed metallic black that I found on amazon. So far I completed the trim around the shift ****, ashtray, and trim around the center clock. Check it out!
Before (of course I forgot to take a before picture but here's a stock image of how it looked before):
After:
I would like to mention that this is my first time doing anything like this and I am really happy with how it came out. I should also add that by (almost) complete, I mean that I will also be wrapping the remaining aluminum trim pieces on the door panels, etc.
Here's the link to the vinyl I used:

Yes, I removed the trim pieces! It wasn't difficult it was just very tedious when wrapping around the small holes and bottom portion of the shift ****. However, with a lot of heat and patience, it came out beautifully. I think it looks OEM, I believe no one (except G owners) would be able to tell that it was even wrapped because of the look and feel.

That is exactly the same as what I did. I wrapped everything in the center console, including the shifter, the trim around the base of shifter. I recommend you use the 3M pen on the cubby door, ash-tray thing. The corner of that will pull up if you don't use the pen and heat the wrap well.

Looks most excellent MVX!
thanks for the link as well. I might have to try this myself.
How long did it take you to do each piece?
Was it easy to remove the pieces? did you find a tutorial somewhere for removing the pieces?
