I opted to use Scosche MagicMount Window Mount because it puts the phone very close to my line of sight while driving, is within easy reach, is adjustable, doesn't block any controls on the dashboard, mounts to the dash with an adhesive pad, is quick to mount/dismount the phone, and can be stored in the glove box when not in use.

how does the phone attach/detach? I like my magnetic one because it excels at that whereas the spring-loaded arms are a pain.

to ensure spending $90 on a mount from Pro Clips is worth the money (i have an otter box so most are "not compatible") does anyone have an otter box compatible case and think its worth the $90?

Can't speak to the otter box but I have used roughly 5-6 Pro clips solutions on various cars for various devices over the years and highly recommend them. Now my solution is the cleanest .... built in Nav, never falls off, always at the right height and large screen (let the Google Maps flames begin).

so i decided to go with the car mount below. Originally I had it mounted on the right side of my center screen, but currently have it on my dash above the screen. Very happy with it, i have the magnet in between my otter box rubber and plastic cases. Sticks very well, i would recommend it for anyone looking for a mount

I just use the one that goes inside the CD. It's worked well for me so far.

Kuda is a bit pricey, but I think it is worth it. Other mounts that I have used makes the dash look really tacky. Also, as others have said, the pro clip mount is dangerously low if you use your phone for GPS map.
Where can I buy this? I need a phone holder like yesterday! LOL

how do you install it? I can’t get mine in and I’m already scratching things up! How frustrating!
