xb fogs

About to pull the trigger on some XB fogs but debating on getting the lamin-x yellow film. heard mix reviews on them being a true yellow, or having a slight hint of green. Is this still the case?

Also read about people using the orange film to get a pure yellow.

Please post pics with or without lamin-x

Lucky for you I took a picture when testing the Lamin-X film. I opted not to use it in the end.

The pre-cuts aren't worth it. IMO. If you want to wrap the lens effectively, buy a sheet. My xB fogs are wrapped in amber window tint. I don't think it appeals to everyone, but on a Moonlight White car, it's very attractive, both lit and unlit.

Those yellow films are a waste. Bought and didn't use them

From what I've been able to scour, the yellow headlights being more effective in rain/fog have been debunked. As a matter of fact, it's not even a requirement in French cars anymore.

That being said, there's still some pedigree to yellow headlights being of a faster class (ALMS; GT vs. Daytona).

That said, my xb fogs are still not installed. I purchased the yellow Lamin-X film and not sure if I'd like to use it. Maybe install it and rip it off if I don't like it? Already purchased so it's a sunk cost. =P

I bought a pair of pre-cuts when I got my xB's, curious about whether pre-cuts would be better. i threw them away.
