Question about replacing front seats

Has anyone tried the corbeau LG1's out? I see them a lot in the 350/370s but not a whole lot about the Gs. Curious to know how they feel for a long distance drive.

Also do the coupes have side air bags? Mine is a 2008 for a reference

Side airbags yes. Do you have a sport model? If so, unless you just HAVE to have racing seats for some mad circuit races, the Corbeau seats are almost identical to the Sports. Not to mention the Sport seats are fully adjustable. If you don't have a Sport, I'd say go for it, update with pics

It's more or less for the weight of the seats and eventually I'd like to track it for the hell of it. I have the sport. Is there some way of tricking the system into thinking the stock seats are still plugged up for the side air bags?

Ah, well yeah the seats will save ya a good amount of weight for sure. As for the airbags idk but I think it would be pretty simple to trick them.

I would assume a resistor or something of the nature. This is all stuff down the road. Really need to change out my clutch first.

The end goal is to get it to roughly 3400ish lbs curb weight but thats a lot of weight to cut lol

Exactly but, airbags are scary. I'd be so stressed that a resistor or something would fail and send the wrong message; KABLAMMMMM!!!

Found the fix on the 370z, should be eerily similar for us.
