Most of that is labour costs i'd guess. The actual materials costs can't be more than a few hundred....

One day, i'll attempt modding my lights lol.

All depends on what your after or wanting....shrouds, lenses, etching, demon eyes, angel/halo etc for good brands will run you around $400 just for material. Im sure they have all that in bulk so there is a discount there, but it can be done for a fraction if your any decent with paint and electronics.

None the less, lights look amazing!

Yup, I'm very happy with them. And very obsessed at the moment too haha.

Looks sick!

I'm getting mine done this winter most likely! However, I have someone local who focuses on headlights (definitely not as well known at OneEighty).

Looks real nice!! Do you have any pictures of the car with the headlights on? Also, is this a DRL look? Do you drive around with the headlight signal on auto and achieve this look?

ONEighty wires their halos up to the parking lights, so unfortunately, you will have to toggle your headlights on/off. If you wire the halos up to the ignition though, your auto on/off switch will work just fine.

Yup, what Zahy said is correct. By default, ONEighty wires the LED's to your parking light. So it comes on when you put your car into parking light mode, and when the headlights are on as well.
I'm sure they don't have to wire it this way though. More than likely, if you requested them to leave the wires out that they'd be willing, as it'd be less work for them.
I was originally going to do this, and wire them up to a rocker switch for complete control. But decided to just leave it simple, as I always manually control my headlights/parking lights anyway.

I took barely any shots with the lights on, here's a close up if that helps.

You replaced the amber reflectors with clear, instead of painting?

Is there a OneEighty decal inside the light somewhere in matching maroon? Looking at your very first pic, doesn't seem to be. Given the expense and the overall awesomeness, I'm thinking that would look right.

I guess none of those pictures show it well, but the reflectors are actually painted gloss black. And they do have ONEighty logos on them, but in KAD. The decision to use Matador Red Mica on the eyelid was made after the KAD and gloss black housings/shrouds were already painted. So it had already been done. But I like the subtlety of the KAD on black.
I'm not usually a logo/namebrand sporting guy, but these pieces of art definitely deserved a signature on them
