Opinions on paint colors

My G is rebuilt and the paint has always been ehh, so I'm finally able to get is painted. I was thinking of either going nardo grey, black, or pearl white. My car is currently Graphite shadow grey, but I'm definitely ready for a change. I'm really just looking for opinions on everyones favorite color! Any input would be much appreciated!

I'd look in to a wrap vs. paint, easy to change and also easy to return to stock when the time comes to sell. And the variety of wrap material is amazing now.

I like Nardo Gray and Pearl White. Having owned black cars in the past, I just don't have the acumen or patience to properly care for that color.

I'd take this into consideration before putting down $4-5k on a quality paint job, since you can wrap or autodip (not to be confused with regular dip) for half the price. But if you're not worried about burning through some funds, I've always been a fan of Daytona Blue on the 350z and Midnight Purple II on the R34.

^^ DAYTONA blue FTW

Yeah, I'd def advise to get it wrapped instead of painting the car. You have so many choices available - I love the Metallic matte blue

I'd go with white...you can accent with any color and it'll match fine

If the paint isn't in good condition to begin with, wrap might not be an option. You can't.. or shouldn't wrap panels in primer, and large paint defects or body damage would make wraping a poor choice.

Hmmm definitely some pretty valuable input. Thanks guys, I'm definitely going to weigh my options. My only issue with vinyl wrapping is that the underlying paint will still be ehh. Also, I'm also lowered, so i'm worried about the vinyl rubbing off on places like my front bumper.

Post close-ups of your paint so we can help with the decision. If it's a 7/10 or above, I say that it's not worth the cost of a repaint.

Vinyl wrap ftw! It's half the price of a paint job and you can always go back to graphite if you decide to sell the car down the line. They have come out with some incredible colors to choose from as well.

^^^ Yeah just look at the matte black wrap and if this dosent change your mind then I don't know what will - If you have some chips on the paint that is holding you back from getting it wrapped, then you can just fix those first - Sand it down - Bondo it and then sand it and then get it wrapped lol. No one's gotta know what's under the wrap.

And if you're worried about your bumper scraping and messing up the wrap, then it's easier to re-wrap that part then having to paint the whole bumper again

Haha believe me I'm a fan of vinyl, but I have the money to make one big change right now, so im leaning more towards paint. I have a REALLY good relationship with my mechanic and he's doing it for $1,500.

If i scratch the paint, it'll be on the bottom of the bumper and no one will see. I'm just imagining ripping the vinyl under the front bumper and then water getting under the vinyl and it just hanging off.

Its already at the shop. Basically most of the car looks PHENOMINAL. But the real bumper, and front bumper are just slightly darker than the oem paint, and the drivers side door is the right color but it has a big scratch down to the metal, and looks like its covered with overspray. Then the dip **** who painted the room black left tape marks near the rubber seals (then threatened to call the cops if i didn't pay him).

Have you had any problems being lowered as far as vinyl ripping off?

If you're getting the whole car painted for $1500 then I would rather do that - You're looking at around 1500-2k for the wrap so in that case it's not worth it.

$1,500 for a full paint job is a steal, unless if the workmanship reflects the price
