Has anyone replaced the front seats in their sedan?

I was bored for a minute today and called Corbeau with a few questions. They seem pretty legit, like Sparco. They are actually based in the U.K, make their seats there and seemed really knowledgeable about their products.
They confirmed my thought that the suede A4 seat was a much higher quality seat than the cloth and also that it would be a bit warmer in the summer/track days than cloth, but still better than leather. They were also cool with a return if the seats were too narrow. Said I could actually special order one regular A4 and one wide for the passenger seat if they are too narrow (since they are sold in pairs).
Still planning to go with Sparco R600 first.

I've heard Corbeau makes some really nice seats. My Cobra seats were also made in the UK. They are even signed by the maker on the bottom of the seat so you know who to call and yell at if any of your stitching starts to come apart.
The foam for my seats was done by Peter and they were sewn by Liz. Probably both teenagers working in a Cobra sweatshop somewhere in England. LOL

That's pretty cool. I bet a lot of the seats I have looked at so far would have that tag in Chinese.
The owner of Subisports (Chad?) tried to convince me that Cobra seats were slowly made by hand by craftsman in England and all Sparcos, Corbeaus, and every other seat he didn't sell were made in China or Taiwan in sweat shops and were crap. He also claimed they made all the seats for Bugatti, Aston Martin, Jaguar, etc, but on Cobra's website they only list Jaguar. Sounded a little hooky to me and what do you know- it was a bunch of B.S.
I think Cobra makes some really nice seats, but it looks like everyone who filled out that tag on your seat was in a pretty big hurry as it is all pretty hard to read. Clearly and more importantly, they spent more time making the seat.
I also see that Corbeau is celebrating their 50th anniversary so they should have it pretty well figured out by now. I looked at a few of their other seats, but they still look cheap compared to the Sparco R600. I like the Cobra Daytona, but the thigh bolsters are a bit tall and I am not a huge fan of the wear patches on the bolsters.

Yeah, good point.... At least the seats look WAY better than the hand writing on the tags. You can see from the tag that they started production in week 30 (so around the 3rd week of July) and didn't finish the seats until August 23th... so at least they didn't rush the production of the seats.
I'm pretty sure Corbeau seats are made in the UK and as far as I know Sparco seats are still made in Italy. I have a couple of buddies with Sparco seats and they all say Made in Italy on them. I would think that either of those guys would supply a quality product. Incidentally, I think we are going to be putting Corbeau seats in our Jeep since my wife really likes the Corbeau Moab seats.

Well, I just special ordered the driver's side LH Bride seat rails (#N110M0) for my car. Because they are a special order from Japan I cannot return them so I just ordered one. Also so I can make sure everything fits up ok with the Sparco R600 I am going to order. This way I only have to return one seat if it fits weird. I was really hoping I would find someone who had decent aftermarket seats at a car show or race that I could sit in, but no luck.

Has anyone tried or have a need for these Occupant Classification Sensor Emulators? They are what you use to trick the passenger side air bag weight sensor into thinking it is working fine when you have an aftermarket seat. I was going to order one and saw it was $20 less if you order 2 in case anyone else was planning to do aftermarket seats. Or has anyone tried one and know that it works ok?
