HELP! Water Leaking Rear Quarter Window and On Carpet!
Hi!
I purchased a 2008 g37 coupe with no accidents one year ago and today in NJ there was really heavy rain and I noticed the passenger side rear quarter window headliner was soaked, with few drops on the seat.
Additionally, the rear carpet under the mat was damp, no water on the mat itself, which leads me to believe the water came from behind the panel in the rear seat.
There was also a bit of condensation on that quarter window. No water on rear deck or rear windshield.
Please let me know!

Its one of 2 things. Either the window seal isn't completely sealed and would need to be pulled, cleaned, scraped and resealed to the body OR one of your drains in the roof is clogged up. They work as a gutter and help get the water routed to the ground. You'll have to take the panels off and see for yourself though. Should be a free fix if you do it yourself, otherwise it would just be the labor charge for a shop to remove the panels, clean the hose and reinstalling everything.

I have exactly the same problem. Disassembled everything except for the headliner and cannot find the cause. Its probably the rear sunroof drains but they are completely inaccessible without removing the headliner.
Try parking the car on a level surface, works for me.
If you find something please let me know
