Wow all this talk about headlight bulb replacement and not a single person mentions Osram CBI bulbs?
They are the rolls royce when it comes to factory quality HID Bulbs.
I've had both the XB35 Morimoto and the Osram CBI.
Osram CBI is the winner. It definitely does cost a lot more but you will love it. The color is crisp 5500K white.
Do yourself a favor and just search for Osram CBI reviews on Google. You will come across many users that praise them like me.

I have the "famous" Osram CBI's 5500k and am unfortunately not that impressed. They are closer to the stock "tinge of yellow" than a true white or even having any "tinge of blue" at all. There is a touch of blue on startup but it changes pretty drastically once warmed up...

Those are my headlights in my 2011 with Osram CBI bulbs. Very white
Not a really good picture but heres a glimpse of the light output on the back wall.
The bright white light output you see in front of the bumper is actually from my 5000K LED fog lights from VLEDS
Lights are
5000K Triton v3 switchbacks
5000K sidemarker light from VLEDS
5000K H8 fog light from VLEDS
Where's the tinge of yellow? If anything my 5000K triton v3 switchbacks have more of a tinge of yellow than my Osram CBI

How many hours have you put on them? I hear they color shift to their true colors after a bit of use

I am pretty sensitive to any warmth at all (always shift my monitors and TVs to the "cool" setting) so it could be the contrast with my other lights that brings it out more, but still my lights look pretty different from yours. They have been in for about a month and my lights are on every day for my drive home from work. It's bluish when the car first starts but settles into the warmer color after a few minutes.

Osram Nightbreakers
Brightest is terms of output and 100% functional. I love mine and couldn't be happer. I had the CBI's before, they were ok but not as bright.
