a couple months ago a mechanic smeared brake fluid on my car on top of the headlights. fast forward to now and that spot was the only place it was affected with this like white stuff. now every once and a while when I wash my car it shows up more? and today ( which is the picture with the red circle ) it starts appearing in my places! by my handle and on the door. it's like water marks that can't get off and is in the paint. very annoying. any help would be nice

Not trying to hijack the thread or anything but I'm in NJ and would love to pay someone to give my car polish as well. There are a few blemishes that were present when I bought the car that I can't get out on my own.

type in on Google car detailing places near you. and there should be plenty of places that would do that. it's good to do that stuff before the winter anwyays.

I recommend using clay bar first. Polishing compound is a good idea also then rubbing compound for a more aggressive process.
