"The Lighting Guru" Headlights

Hey everyone, I don't really know if this is the right place for this thread and if it's not mods feel free to move it

I have been familiar with a guy doing headlights out of Alton Bay, NH for a while called The Lighting Guru. He specializes in Subarus and has done a couple cars for a few people I know. It's never been practical for me to send my lights off to OneEighty because it's my daily driver, but when I saw this guy post a picture of a Lexus he did on Facebook I sent him a PM asking if he'd do the lights on my G25. After a little back and forth we settled on black housings with single switchback halos. He also removed the large amber reflector and rewired the small bulb up top to be a turn signal. I'm very lucky to say that even though my car was the first Infiniti he has worked on we didn't run into any problems and the lights came out really well! The best part is he only charged me $300 for the parts and install and it only took one night. Highly recommend to anyone in the New England area for really good work at a really good price.

NOTE: The slight delay between the halo and stock turn signals can be resolved by replacing the stock turn signals bulb with an LED. I will be doing this in the future as well as swapping my stock fog light bulbs for LEDs to better match the headlights.

Looks absolutely sick! If you don't mind me asking, how much did he charge? I'd love to have him do mine. I have a coupe so maybe it'll be another new experience for him.

EDIT: Sorry re-read your post and saw you said $300. That's including paint and everything? I'm from NY but I would totally take a drive up to him or ship my headlights.

Yeah it was only $300 to go from stock lights to these, I was really surprised since I had got quotes from other people when I was thinking about having my lights sent away. Not to mention the fact that going there saves you the job of taking off the bumper.

Very nicely done. I'd change the turning light bulbs to led however that way the blink would be on point with the halo.

That and some LED fogs to match the headlights is the next step, saving for a chin spoiler next though! All the little edits on my front end keep my bouncing between them. I have very bad modding ADHD haha

I made an appointment with him for mid-May. It's gonna be his first set of coupe lights. I'll let you guys know how it comes out.

Damn I love the look of the black housings!!! I think it would be great with the Black Obsidian, but I think it looks even better as contrast against the gray on your car.

In for Pics as I'm looking for someone local as well, I wonder if doing the panerama shroud would be doable for him?

I don't wanna speak for him but I know he has installed different style shrouds on peoples Subarus and he seems pretty open as far as trying new builds, so I bet he could get it done for you!
