UPDATE: It's been 10 months since my DRL install. Still performing FLAWLESS. Even in summer heat, my DRL's do NOT get hot. NO issues what so ever with the Auto On/Off DRL controller I installed. No burnt out lights etc. They work 100% every time I start the car and turn off automatically 12 seconds after I shut the car off.

Each and every day, I believe this Gray G37x is much safer with DRL's as sunny or cloudy days, the DRL's are nice and bright. Amazing as they are just 3 Watts each.

NOTE: I turned the IPDM off. (Infiniti Power Distribution Module) So my Controller gets 14.1 volts each and every time I drive the car thus perfect Auto on/off of my DRL's.

For those of you who are having intermittent issues with DRL's turning on / off... and don't know why... Infiniti vehicles don't always charge the battery... to save gas! So when your DRL's don't fire... if you tested the volts at the battery... it will be 12.6-13.0 volts. Auto DRL controllers need above 13 volts to signal on. So it is not your DRL controller... it's your Alternator not charging the battery at full volts.

Also, Do NOT ground anything to the battery Negative post. Use a bolt on the fender/chassis. There are plenty to choose from.

The auto controller's can be purchased on Ebay for less than $10 bucks. I bought 3 to have a backup and one ready for the next DRL install. :-) Cenn2010 in the best seller. he stocks the 3 Watt Eagle eye White color lights very inexpensive, and the Controllers. Super easy wiring... power / ground controller. Pos / Neg to lights from controller. Final wire is parking light signal tap... so controller will dim your DRL's when lights are on at night. Go for it. :-)
