Hi, I wanted to know if anyone successfully installed Sport Seats into a Jorney Sedan without the memory function. My car doesn't support the seat memory.
I purchased some sport seats and were unable to install the driver side since its a different harness...im assuming and 99% sure it has a lot to do with not having the memory function on my g37 because the sport seats have memory function.
The problem is that my harness has 5 wires, and the sport seats harness has about 16...I tried to swap the harness, but the sports seat have several other options included so that didn't work...
I tried to install just the five wires to my harness and it doesn't slide nor recline...BUT the side supports seem to be functioning....Any suggestion?
My next plan is to just swap the rails (with motors) but that may be really risky...

Any Positive suggestions will help...No negative comments please....And no I'm not selling them...

 

If you don't mind me asking can you tell me how much you paid for sport seats? pm is fine if you don't want to post here. I'm going to sell my seats but have no idea how much I should price them at, I got coupe though.

 

Veldman's Auto Recyclers in South Bend, IN had a set of black ones for $750/Ea.

I installed the sport seats in my coupe and paid $1,200 shipped for the pair in like new condition.

Oddly enough, the harnesses in my seats mated perfectly and everything was plug and play. Your best bet is going to be looking at the Factory Service Manual to determine the function of each wire and to pair them accordingly.
