Question I also ordered from DD and had them installed and my passenger headlight won't come on at time and I have to flick the switch. What year is your G? To my understanding it's 2012 and up that's doesn't work but I'm not sure because I asked them if they think he bulb is bad and they stated it could not be properly in the socket and have to get them checked today

Mine is a 2011, I had them send me a new bulb to see if that would fix the issue, I went to a shop and they said that they worked fine, now I'm waiting on my replacement and hopefully it will work cross my fingers if not I'm just going to stick with oem or get Morimoto xb35. I thought the same because I always heard 2012 and up had the issues but idk maybe my 2011 has the new ballast who knows

The DD D2S bulbs dont work very well in my car either. One of the lights in my car also does not come out without flicking the lights on and off a few times. I have a 2008 so they cant use that as an excuse. Face it, they are inferior bulbs and you get what you pay for. I will be installing OSRAM CBI's once I get my lights back from 180 customs.

This is disheartening as I ask weather this would be a problem in my 11' was told it wouldn't be. Passenger went out and have to flick them to get it on. They are sending me another. Have to peel back the fender cover again to try. Yay:roll eyes:!

I originally ordered Osram CBI and changed my mind last minute and went with Philips Ultinon 6000k. The Philips 6000k is awesome, still as bright as OEM and pure white with a hint or purple.

That sounds like a killer bulb. The other bulb DD sent me did not work either. I am returning all 3 bulbs today. I ended finding an old set of Phillips 85122 from my old BMW. I slapped those in. Since they are old they are more like 4900k or 5000k.
May have to look at those Ultinon's. Where did you get them?

Got them from www.theretrofitsource.com, only safe place to buy quality bulbs without the risk of them being fakes. There are soo many out there it's scary. Fake Philips everywhere.

They are definitly quality but they are $185. The OEM Philips standard 85122 are $100 on there, which is what our G's use. Infiniti quoted me like around $160 USD for the standard 85122 btw.

The ultinons are bright considering they are 6000k, close to the brightness of the OEM 4300k. But look much nicer and very exotic, unlike the ricey blue and purple. I compared them side by side with my OEMs and I kid you not my OEM looked yellow. I've never seen them as yellow but beside the Ultinons, that's the colour. Like that 1 girl who is ok looking but beside a hottie then you see that she is actually fugly, kinda like that. LOL

Damn I really don't want to spend that much on bulbs. So many mods so little money! I really like 6K. I ran this one kit in 2 cars my wife drove. Nice CRISP white/blueish. Every time she would pick me up at the airport at night I could always tell in the sea of headlights which car was her's. After i do a few other things I might just bite the bullet and do it.

My local dealership quoted me $300 CAD ($225 USD) for one bulb, not even installed.

That's why they are called stealerships. The reason why I bought the bulb was because one of my lights went out and thought it the bulb, turns out it was the ballast. Infiniti wanted me to change the whole headlight system ad won't sell me a ballast. But the bulbs I got looked so nice I decide to just keep it and sell it later when I part out since it is a hot item.
