Beware Of Sunroof

Beware Of Sunroof
Well here it is, I attempted to close my sunroof and heard a grinding noise and the sunroof would not close. I carefully removed the panel around the switch and found out that a screw holding the sunroof motor had fallen out and was located in the plastic part near the switch molding.
In fact all screws were loose, I tighted them. the sunroof began working. I noticed however that the passenger side tail end of the sunroof in a bit lower than the drivers side and I heard a tremendous amount of noise. I went thru the resync process several times and it will not correct itself. If I manually try to tilt it up and then hit the down button I can kind of level it out. This has been driving me crazy for the last 2 days. I called the dealer to get an idea of how much a motor would be and was told $600. I hope its something reasonable in price.
Any idea what i should be checking or doing?

I have figured this out. The sunroof motor can be removed without dropping the headliner. I removed the white plastic under the switch of the sunroof button, and had full access to the motor. I completely removed the motor and resecured back via the 3 screws and did the resync before putting it back together again and it worked.
I will advise the entire switch assembly including the microphone and LED light must be removed to get the entire white plastic piece out then you are able to access the sunroof motor. I was told I would be looking at a rail assembly which is $661.00 and the motor $612.00, I sure am glad that I didnt have to spend that money.
