G-37 Analog Clock Light

Hey guys, I've tried looking this up on the forum but only thing I could find was a post about modding the analog clock. My issue is that my clock doesn't light up when my headlights are on... My car is still under warranty but my dealer is 2 hours away and I'd rather fix it myself if its easy enough.

I've seen posts about the G35 clock and how it is relatively simple to replace the bulbs. Is the G37 clock similar or do I really need a whole new clock like the dealer suggested?

Thanks!

I have the same issue, started out with the light flashing now its completely off. The dealers advised that the whole clock would need to be replaced and if your car is still under warranty it covers that.

Does the clock pop out or do they need to take out the whole center dash to fix it?

The radio finisher needs to be removed.

This seems to be a pretty common problem. I just had my clock replaced under warranty 2nd week of January. Mine's a 2011. They didn't have it in stock though (new dealer) so they had to order it and that took a week. Then 1 hr to install while I waited. looked like they took off the whole panel that the clock sits in. So far so good, but I wonder if the new one will blow out again 2 years from now.

Stripper pole? Just playing, but I have thought about this too. Can't figure out what would be useful and fit in that smallish space. Magnetic compass?

Artificial Horizon! Perfect. A little small but cool. Now... where to install the pitot tubes and gyroscope?
