Do my rear seats fold down?
Silly question but I cant seem to find the latch and if they dont why did they "finish the hole in the trunk with a rubber gasket? Thanks for a quick and witty but not to harsh of a response. Sarcasm welcome.

Put your hand right behind the middle tray in the back and at the bottom put your hand underneath the top portion of the seat and you sort of have to search for it but there will be a red cord like strap u can pull to drop the seats. You can also go into the trunk and on the left side there will be a mechanism you can pull to drop the seats via the trunk as well.

The rear seats fold down in a coupe? I had no idea. Is this new? I know there is a cut-out in the sedan which will allow large items to pass through, but had no idea about the fold down capability.

I wonder why they never made this an option on the outgoing model of the sedan? I have a friend that requires the folding rear seats for mountain bike transport and he's has been limited to the 3 series sedan for many years. He was excited to find out that the Q now offers this option, but it's buried away in an obscure package offering that he does not want/need. Since the coupe is more limited in trunk space, it makes sense to offer it on that model first out of necessity.
