Thanks for all of the great replies. I think I have decided on Morimoto headlight bulbs and a DDM kit for the fogs.

Back already...

When ordering from DDM do I need to add mounting brackets or are there nice spots on the G to place it? Also do I need to add hid harness, error eliminator or adaptor cables??

Hid noob here lol

Sorry to hijack the thread, but would Morimoto XB35 6k and DDM tuning 6k HID kit be a good combo?

Don't get DDMs kit. I've had issues with ballasts and bulbs. It's about 2 weeks of down time each time. You have to send your defective item out, they test it, and send a replacement if under their lifetime warranty. The replacement part comes directly from China. I would spend more money on a proper retrofit.

Just wanted to post a little update.

I went with the Morimoto 3Five bulbs in 6000k, just installed today and everything went smoothly. They fired up first time no problem. Turned the wheel into the side I was working on. Jacked that side up, added a jack stand and I have plenty of room to work and see everything. Very easy install this way. I have not decided if I want to add an hid kit to my fogs. Hope this was helpful to others.

I got in to an accident and front passenger headlight was destroyed. When the new headlight came I threw out both bulbs and replaced the crappy OEM Koito HID bulbs with quality Philips 4300K (85122+) bulbs..they look fantastic. Go OEM temp on HID's or go home.

I gotta disagree with that. I prefer 6000k, still nice light output with a hint of blue.
Subtle changes.

My other car has a projector retrofit with fx-r (clear lenses) with 6000k and I've loved them ever since.

Can someone post a pic of drivers point of view of 5000k bulb? diode dynamics, osram or other brands. I currently have osram svs and I'm contemplating on keeping it or getting 5000k or 6000k. Thanks
